Payment authorization
All orders must be approved by the bank before they can be processed. Only authorized orders will be processed and shipped.

Electronic delivery
Clinique Online Canada e-Gift Cards are delivered by email. The name and email address of the sender will be included for the recipient.

Deductions from payment authorization
When you place an order using a credit card or debit card, two transactions are posted to your account.
1. The bank issuing your credit card holds funds in your account for the amount of your purchase following the authorization of your order. This stock reserves funds for anticipated fees.
2. The amount of your order is billed afterwards and the funds are withdrawn from your account. The amount billed may be different from the authorization retainer if the order has been changed or canceled before shipping.
If an order is canceled, the authorization hold is canceled by the issuing bank. For more details on canceling authorization withholding, please contact the issuing bank’s customer service department. Since this process varies from bank to bank, unfortunately we can not help you with the cancellation of authorization deductions.

Order processing
• Orders are only processed and shipped during business days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays).
• Orders placed during statutory holidays and weekend days are processed on the first business day that follows.
• Orders with standard service are processed within 1 – 2 business days
• Express orders are processed on the same business day if the order is placed before 2:00 pm EST

Cancellation of the order
If you wish to cancel an online order after placing it, please call us at 1-800-419-4041 within one hour of order completion. We will make every effort to respond to your request. When an order is in process, it can not unfortunately be modified or canceled.
Occasionally, orders or parts of orders are canceled for various reasons including:
